Hi @Ponce I installed a new -current on a fresh qemu VM, all disk series except KDE. then proceeded to install all the dependencies from vlc, except the ones that Pat now included in -current. then proceeded to build vlc. I can confirm that it build ok, so the problem is in my first -current install. I will close this PR. Sorry for the annoyance |

P.S. - On my first box I rebuild all dependents + vlc and now its working too... |
